What should I do if the firmware reprogramming didn’t go well?
If you have purchased a firmware reprogramming file from us, did everything in accordance to the instructions on our site, but the reprogramming didn’t deliver any results, we recommend you to do the following before asking us anything:
1. Check whether the information which you sent us is correct (the printers’ serial number, firmware version, model).
2. Verify the serial number which you sent us with the number that you can find out by using this program, in the configuration list or on the printers’ menu display.
3. Check whether you have sealed chips or vice versa.
4. Delete pending documents from printing que
5. Try to reprogram the firmware using another computer or an „USB” cable.
6. Reprogram the device in an enforcing mode. Turn on the machine while holding the button „STOP/ECO”, release button ( for devices without display), after that click on "STOP" button once again, you will see „Wait image” (if the device has a display), after that run the fix.
Our fix will most likely reprogram your device in a low quality if:
1. Your devices’ firmware has already been reprogrammed by something;
2. The motherboard of your device has been replaced/exchanged;
3. You or the owner of the device have/has damaged the boards’ integrity.
If despite all your best efforts and a careful examination of all things which you could check on your printer the device doesn’t want to print after the firmware reprogramming, then please with the letter which outlines the problem, do please always send us a scanned devices’ configuration sheet, how to get it, see here.
Once again we would like to point out that all of our selled fixes do 100% work, before we put them on market, we do test them all on our testing devices. From experience we can assure you that all the problems to 99% arise either due to the fact that the client wasn’t paying enough attention, or due to the incompatibility of the hardware with the firmware.
